Eric O'Hara started taking guitar lessons at age 10 studying classical as well as other musical styles (Chinese music transcribed for two guitars!).  He also studied saxophone in high school at NCCS in the main and stage band.  During his years in college he took up pedal steel guitar with instruction from Jeff Newman and Buddy Emmons out of Nashville and also taught himself how to play 5 string banjo.  From Plattsburgh and Syracuse, New York to Fort Worth, Texas he has played in many different bands, various studios, in many different styles over the last 22 years and still looks forward to performing and recording whenever possible.  Especially if its going to include the blues!
